Leszy
Wildlife photography journal

Journal
- Recording an observation takes a few seconds: species, count, behavior, GPS position.
- Weather is added automatically when you are online.

Notebook
- Notes with links to species, observations and sites.
- For longer writing than an observation's comment.

Offline map
The parts of the map you have looked at stay on the phone and work in airplane mode.

Calendar
- Your own periods and dates with reminders: the rut, courtship displays, migration.
- A site keeps a history of visits and shows which species are worth looking for there and in which months.

Camera traps
- A camera trap at a site.
- A check date, a reminder, a checklist for the check.

Backup
- No account. Your data is on your phone.
- A backup in one file: save it to Files, a cloud drive or email it to yourself.
- Restore it on a new phone; restoring adds what the journal lacks and overwrites nothing.

Who it is for
For wildlife photographers, mainly of mammals and birds, who take notes in the field: in a hide, at dawn, without cell coverage.
Leszy records what the camera does not: the time, the place, the species.
